Bloody Disgusting reports that the Weinstein Company owned Dimension Films has pushed backed their haunted polaroid camera flick from August 25, 2017, to December 1, 2017. This would give Leap!, also being distributed by Weinstein Company, the weekend of August 25th.
Dimension Films, studio behind the Scream and Scary Movie franchises, has been infamous at delaying films, usually for more than years at a time. Amityville: The Awakening has been hanging around since 2014 for a release, while the James Wan produced Demonic has finally been released on Spike TV after four years of waiting. The production company has been holding off on a Hellraiser remake and Children of the Corn sequel.
Polaroid follows a teenager who finds a vintage Polaroid camera. After taking pictures of her friends she soon learns that anyone who's in the pictures will be killed by a paranormal presence.
