"The Hateful Eight" represents Quentin Tarantino's mind on overdrive, but many of the classic quips fail to capture interest.

Top 10 Worst Films of 2015
This year I tried to make a resolution to stay away from films that looked bad, annoying, or dumb. I did well for the most part, but there were a few disappointments.

What Could Make Star Wars: The Force Awakens Better
I have officially ranked "The Force Awakens" as the fourth best "Star Wars" film of all-time, a close second behind "Return of the Jedi." The newest film in the franchise didn't really have any wrongs to right from the original trilogy. There was just a bad taste in our mouths from the prequels. "The Force Awakens" misses the iconic cinematography and poetic storytelling from the originals while still maintaining the originals' charm and wit. But, there were many flaws with the film. What could make "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" better? What were the flaws?

"Macbeth" is a visual delight with impeccable acting, but that Shakespearean dialogue still gets to you.

Creed: Movie Review
While you might think of "Creed" as a spin-off to the "Rocky" franchise, the film stands on its own two feet with a solid story and great performances.

Spectre: Movie Review
No questions are answered in Daniel Craig's latest outing as the suave, damaged, and confused James Bond. In the rebooted modern era of 007, it has become a tradition for every other Bond film to be subpar from the last. Spectre is that Bond film.

Crimson Peak: Movie Review
Guillermo del Toro fights hard to make Crimson Peak the horror epic it deserves to be. However, the film disappoints in scares and emotions.

Knock Knock: Movie Review
Knock Knock is a tedious endeavor. Eli Roth tries to come up with a clever horror story, but the film is neither clever nor scary, just frustrating to watch.

Everest: Movie Review
Everest mixes a conventional story with a great cast, but the film's structure, dialogue, and character development plague the story from start to finish.

Tom Cruise is notably old, but unbelievably energetic in this enjoyable continuation of the Mission Impossible franchise.

Southpaw: Movie Review
This might be Jake Gyllenhaal's best performance, but the Southpaw's inspiration is from a checklist of boxing film cliches.

Ant-Man: Movie Review
With a charming lead, short backstory, tight plot and clear cut villains, Ant-Man recalls the days of Iron Man, highlights Marvel at its best, and even highlights Marvel at its worse.

Cinema Rant: Sexism in Jurassic World
While Jurassic World dominates the worldwide box office, critics can't stop . . . well . . . criticizing the film for its portrayal of women. It's one thing when the film blatantly shows sexism at work, it's another thing when critics mistake bad filmmaking as sexism.

Poltergeist: Movie Review
Poltergeist or The Worst Film-Going Experience I've Ever Had. A film-going experience is an important thing to anyone, especially someone who is trying to do their job in reviewing a film. The last thing people need is for a bunch of rowdy teenagers. I'll blame this problem on the demographic this film was going for. It seems like all horror films nowadays are just one-shot throw-away films that have no sense of place.

Fifty Shades of Grey: Movie Review
Fifty Shades of Grey is too safe to excite. Reinforcing traditional gender stereotypes society has come to love, Grey acts more like a Disney-princess-fairy-tale with bits of artistically laid out sex scenes, than its own unique film.

The Wedding Ringer would be a great film if the screenwriters wrote a few more drafts. Predictability destroys this awkward comedy.
