The Dark Knight Rises: Movie Review

The Dark Knight Rises gives the audience everything they desire, from action, drama, romance, suspense, and evil in the farthest depths. It might have its mishaps and problems, but every movie does. At least, at the end of the film you don't really think about the mishaps and problems. You just know that you have seen one of the greatest trilogies of all time.

Brave: Movie Review

To be fair, this film beats Cars 2, but it still does not compare with any other Pixar heavy weight. As we have come to see, Pixar is losing steam. Next year, they are releasing Monsters University - which will most likely be a hit - and after that, The Good Dinosaur, for a 2014 release date. I am ready for the 2014 film, but not so ready for another Monsters film. It seems like, Pixar decides to challenge themselves every time they make a sequel (I'll get to this in another blog), but Brave was not a sequel. However, this film was put in front of the artists and challenged due to one reason - a female character.

The Avengers: Movie Review

I saw The Avengers during the midnight premiere and it was wild. It was more wild than the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows premiere. I can say that I was having high hopes for this film, but knew that it would not be as great as Dark Knight Rises. That thinking changed right after the film. It was a very great start since I only heard about this film a few months ago. Hunger Games: Movie Review

Can you believe the hype surrounding the Hunger Games and how everyone and their mother has gone to see it? Of course you can because you were probably the one who saw it. The readers who have seen the film and have read the books are experiencing Hunger Game/Great Adaptation Movie Goggles which, in reality, the film was a poor adaptation of what seemed to be a great book. People don't get it and complain to me when I tell them that I have not read The Hunger Games. Should I have?
